In May 2022 eleven geezrs, flew to Ireland, picked up three rental cars, and in ten days covered over 1,400 miles, had one blown tire, toured at least five castles, four museums, two hop-on, hop-off buses and tons of laughs!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few of the things we learned: Ireland is VERY green. The people are friendly beyond belief. The roads are narrow, the hedges and\/or stone walls are VERY close to the edges of the pavement. It rains: sometimes all day, sometime with no warning for a few minutes and then the sun comes out. Everywhere is farther than you think! The Irish are a proud people who have been pushed around for thousands of years by Vikings, Scots, Normans, the Pope, and the English. They claim that 23 US presidents have Irish heritage. DAY 7 \u2013 Killarney National Park, Muckross House, and Ring of Dingle<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 8 \u2013 Kilkenny and tour Kilkenny Castle<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
